Bendix Brake Chamber
The Bendix Brake Chamber turns air pressure into the mechanical force that pushes the slack adjuster through its stroke, sized for a steer axle's shorter stroke requirement. The Bendix K025366 matches the stroke length and spider bolt pattern this steer axle position calls for, so geometry stays within the range the axle was designed around. Steer axles run a shorter chamber stroke than drive or trailer axles, and a chamber built for a longer stroke can over-travel the slack adjuster before the shoes seat.
