ConMet ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Tone Ring
The ConMet ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Tone Ring works with the wheel speed sensor to provide the signal needed for anti-lock braking system operation. As the wheel rotates, the tone ring passes by the sensor tip, creating a pulse that the ABS module interprets as wheel speed data. If the ring becomes damaged or worn, the signal can drop out, leading to warning lights or inconsistent brake modulation. During hub service, the old ring is removed and a new one is installed to restore proper signal generation. The ConMet 10009780 supports accurate ABS signal feedback at the wheel end.
