Contitech Air Suspension Spring
The Contitech Air Suspension Spring provides load support and ride height adjustment within truck and trailer air suspension systems. It mounts between the frame and axle assembly where compressed air inflates the rubber bellows to support vehicle weight. As cargo weight changes, internal air pressure adjusts to raise or lower the suspension height. This movement allows the chassis to respond to shifting loads during transport. When working with air-ride suspensions that rely on bellows expansion to support the chassis, the Contitech AS8997 serves as the replacement air spring within the assembly.
