Motorcraft Electric Fuel Pump
Long cranking before a start, sputtering at highway speed, or a dead stall can all trace back to a failing fuel pump, and the Motorcraft Electric Fuel Pump is Ford's replacement for that job. An electric pump has to deliver steady pressure across every load, from idle to full throttle on a grade. Weak pumps often show up first when the engine is hot or the tank is low. Once the Motorcraft PF1 is plumbed into the fuel line, fuel delivery is back to what the engine expects, so drivers get prompt starts and smooth acceleration again.
