Jost Fifth Wheel Repair Kit
The Jost Fifth Wheel Repair Kit supports movement within the tractor-trailer coupling interface, where the kingpin locks into the fifth wheel plate. When a trailer is connected to the tractor, the coupling assembly must allow controlled pivoting while holding the kingpin securely during travel and turning maneuvers. This fitting kit services internal contact areas that enable the locking mechanism and plate surfaces to interact smoothly through repeated coupling cycles. During highway travel, the connection between tractor and trailer must allow articulation as road surfaces shift and the vehicle changes direction.
