The 9" extension with pinless joint design allows the attached impact socket to swivel up to 30°, providing more access to hard to reach fasteners. Additionally, the pinless joint prevents the potentially dangerous binding condition seen in universal joins, which can destroy the tool and send flying debris back towards the user.
