Bendix Steering Angle Sensor

Electronic stability systems compare steering input with the direction the vehicle is actually moving, and they cannot make that comparison without a working steering angle signal. After the Bendix K096786 goes in, it usually has to be calibrated with diagnostic software before the system will clear its fault codes. Driving a short, straight test run afterward confirms the stability warning light stays off.
