Dayco Automatic Belt Tensioner
Big-bore diesels with a wide serpentine drive lean on one heavy-duty tensioner to keep every rib seated, duty the Dayco Automatic Belt Tensioner is built to handle. Its single 74 mm pulley is 46.27 mm across the face, broad enough for a poly-rib loop with many ribs. Automatic spring action follows the loop through speed changes and shock loads at the front of the engine. Behind the Dayco 89489, a wide drive stays seated through the next long run.
