When airflow measurement and primary filtration work within the same intake system, the Fleetguard Direct Flow Air Filter addresses that service need with Direct Flow primary-element construction. The pleated media and rectifier work together around the MAF-sensor airflow requirement, combining filtration and airflow conditioning within the same primary element. The Fleetguard AF55020 is used in Cummins QSF2.8 applications, giving that construction a concrete engine context. Primary-stage placement then keeps the element assigned to incoming engine air before flow reaches downstream intake components.
