Meritor Air Brake Automatic Slack Adjuster
Across the brake linkage, the Meritor Air Brake Automatic Slack Adjuster manages pushrod travel through a 5.50-inch arm and 28-spline connection. Its green piston detail helps identify the adjuster during service, while the 1.50-inch spline diameter places it at the camshaft interface. As the brake wears, the adjuster helps preserve the working relationship between chamber stroke and camshaft rotation. From the linkage side of the repair, the Meritor R802445 renews automatic adjustment control for the air brake system.
