Designed for the precise pneumatic control of heavy-duty cooling systems, the Bendix Engine Cooling Fan Clutch Solenoid Valve operates within a 60-150 PSI pressure range. This electrical-to-pneumatic interface manages the engagement of the engine fan, utilizing 1/4" PTC (Push-To-Connect) ports for a fast and leak-free installation into the air lines. The internal solenoid is engineered to withstand high engine-compartment temperatures while preventing the air leaks that cause the cooling fan to stick in the "on" position. By providing immediate response to the engine control module, the Bendix K073076 valve ensures the fan cycles only when necessary to prevent parasitic power loss and improve fuel economy.
