Bendix Air Brake Spring Brake
The Bendix Air Brake Spring Brake combines Type 20 service-brake actuation with a Type 24 spring section for compatible disc-brake applications. The Bendix K041960's combination-chamber design handles normal service braking and mechanically applied parking or emergency brake force within one actuator. The spring brake uses a standard-stroke arrangement and a double-diaphragm design for the two brake sections. Chamber size and mounting application should be confirmed because Type 20/24 spring brakes can differ in stroke, clevis, and mounting details.
