Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly
Weak spring force or a rough pulley can leave a serpentine belt loose, and the Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly replaces both sources of that problem. Using an automatic spring-loaded design, this Dayco 89478 tensioner follows normal belt movement and keeps pressure on the drive without repeated manual adjustment. Its 74 mm flat pulley applies that force counterclockwise as the belt moves through the system. Matching the original mount and tensioner travel helps the replacement hold the belt securely without overloading the drive.
