When the cooling system uses a viscous air-sensing fan drive, Horton Engine Cooling Fan Clutch provides the same type of fan-clutch operation. Its viscous control changes how strongly the fan is coupled instead of using the on-off pneumatic action found on other Horton clutch types. The Horton 9902001 is therefore distinguished by operating method as well as engine fit, which matters when nearby Horton fan-clutch options use different control designs. Restoring the original fan-drive strategy does not require changing the surrounding cooling package simply because another clutch style looks similar.
