Euclid Wheel Stud
The Euclid Wheel Stud fits wheel-end hardware service where a shorter M22 x 1.5 right-hand headed stud is required. Its Grade 10.9 construction, round head, serrated body, and 4-3/8-inch length from under the head distinguish it from longer studs in the same general metric family. The 1.00-inch body length and 1.59-inch head diameter matter because the stud has to seat properly in the hub before any clamp load is applied. During hub service, matching the stud’s length, serration, and head size prevents the wrong fastener from changing wheel stack fit. The Euclid E-8986 supplies the metric stud profile built for the shorter right-hand wheel mounting position.
