Euclid U-Bolt Assembly
The Euclid U-Bolt Assembly uses a round bend shape to clamp overslung spring suspension hardware on Peterbilt axle applications. Its Grade 5 construction, 7/8-inch-14 thread size, 3.00-inch width, and 14.00-inch length define a narrower spring-clamp package than the wider air-ride U-bolts used elsewhere in suspension work. The U-bolt body wraps the axle or spring seat while the nut side creates the draw-down force that holds the stack together. Old U-bolts often come off with stretched threads, rust scale, or distorted legs after years under clamp load, so reassembly works better with a fresh matched part. The Euclid E-UB5161-14 gives overslung spring service the correct round-bend hardware for the Peterbilt suspension position.
