Every steering command has to pass cleanly from the linkage into the knuckle. The Meritor Steering Arm transfers turning force at the steer axle so the wheel responds without excess play or delayed movement. Loose mounting points or a weakened arm can make steering feel vague, especially during lane corrections and low-speed maneuvering. With Meritor 3133Z8398, the steering assembly gets a forged replacement arm for restoring firm linkage connection and controlled vehicle direction.
