A bolted flange lets the Mack Engine Crankcase Breather Cap clamp firmly over the crankcase breather opening on Mack E7 engines rather than relying on a press fit. That secure attachment matters because the cap sits on top of the ventilation assembly, where it keeps dust and moisture out while crankcase vapor is routed away. The Mack 232GB34 replaces a cracked or missing cap while the breather body and hose stay connected.
