Electronic control of the trailer brakes is the core feature of the Bendix Trailer Brake Control Module, which manages braking on the trailer it is fitted to. That control lets the Bendix K292136 respond to wheel lockup on the trailer, which a purely pneumatic relay valve cannot do on its own. After installation, a diagnostic check clears old fault codes and confirms the module is communicating. Checking the trailer's power connection at the same time rules out supply problems that can mimic a module fault.
