Donaldson Hydraulic Breather Filter
Keep contaminated air from entering the hydraulic reservoir with the Donaldson Hydraulic Breather Filter, replacing one whose media has loaded up enough to restrict the tank's natural breathing cycle. As fluid level rises and falls with cylinder movement, the reservoir draws air in and out through this filter, tying its condition directly to contamination entering the system. The Donaldson P564424 uses a spin-on design compatible with Schroeder ABF310F filter heads, so it threads onto existing hardware without a housing change. A restricted breather can pull a vacuum strong enough to draw contaminants past worn seals elsewhere in the system.
