Bendix Air Brake Spring Brake
S-cam axles on trucks and trailers are the setting for the Bendix Air Brake Spring Brake, which applies the parking brake with spring force when air is released. A spring brake also acts as the service chamber, so the same unit handles normal braking and parking on that wheel end. The WC suffix sets it apart from other NT3030STD versions, so match the full SKU on the old unit before ordering. Setting pushrod length and checking stroke after the Bendix NT3030STD-WC is installed keeps braking even across the axle.
