Alemite Relief Fitting
The Alemite Relief Fitting is the threaded pressure-relief option in this set, providing a controlled outlet for excess lubricant pressure in compatible gearbox housings, bearings, king pins, and universal joints. Opening at a predetermined pressure lets the fitting work with either grease or oil. Trivalent zinc plating covers the exterior and meets RoHS requirements. That salt-spray rating beyond 72 hours gives the Alemite 47200 a verified corrosion-resistance benchmark in addition to its pressure-relief function.
Alemite Relief Fittings are used on gearbox housings and bearings (king pins, universal joints, etc.) where excessive lubrication pressure is not desired.
