Bendix Air Brake Camshaft
S-cam brake rebuilds where the cam head or splines show wear are where the Bendix Air Brake Camshaft comes in. A worn cam head lets the shoes contact the drum unevenly, and worn splines let the slack adjuster slip, both of which reduce braking force. Fitting new camshaft bushings and seals gives the rebuilt brake a tight, even pivot. The Bendix 815463N must match the length and hand of the shaft it replaces to fit that wheel end.
