Bendix Air Brake Pressure Protection Valve
Until source pressure reaches the opening threshold, the Bendix Air Brake Pressure Protection Valve keeps an auxiliary or secondary branch isolated from the main supply. Once supply pressure is sufficient, the valve allows air into the protected branch while preserving pressure upstream during low-pressure conditions. The Bendix 801579 performs that isolation as a dedicated in-line valve. Opening pressure, port size, and flow direction therefore need to agree with the branch layout so the valve protects the intended circuit rather than restricting the wrong one.
