- The tool can also be used to vacuum by turning the venturi inside the gun in the opposite direction. Air flow is reversed to create a strong vacuum. Note: While normal water pressure will handle the majority of a cooling system flush, short blasts are sometimes need-ed to loosen some contaminants from within the system.
