The Cummins Fuel Supply Hose carries incoming fuel between fixed engine-side connections while accommodating a route that a rigid line may not follow cleanly. Its flexible body can absorb normal movement and spacing changes without forcing the fittings out of alignment. The corresponding Cummins fuel-supply circuit defines where this hose fits. Length, end connections, and hose path on your engine still need to agree before routing the Cummins 5575370 so the line reaches both fittings without kinking or being pulled tight.
