Bendix Air Brake Camshaft Bushing
S-cam brake rebuilds where the camshaft has started to wobble are the use case for the Bendix Air Brake Camshaft Bushing. A worn bushing lets the cam move off-center, so the shoes contact the drum unevenly until the Bendix 1000035N restores a tight fit. Fitting new seals and checking the camshaft journals at the same time completes the repair on that wheel end. Greasing until fresh grease appears confirms the bushing is fully lubricated.
