Tractor Protection Valve
Features & Benefits
- Trailer line breaks cannot drain the tractor with this valve working
- Closes the trailer supply when trailer pressure drops sharply
- Automatic shutoff closes the trailer supply when trailer pressure collapses
- Guards the tractor brakes during trailer breakaway or line damage
Bendix Tractor Protection Valve
Protect the tractor's own braking air during a trailer air failure with the Bendix Tractor Protection Valve. If a trailer line breaks or the trailer separates, the valve closes the trailer supply so the tractor keeps enough air to stop. A valve that leaks at the exhaust or fails to close should be replaced to restore that protection. Testing shutoff of the Bendix 065706 during each annual inspection confirms it will close when needed.
