PAI Power Steering Pump
The PAI Power Steering Pump supplies hydraulic pressure from a timing-cover mount position with left-hand rotation. Rated at 11 GPM and 2000 psig, the pump gives the steering circuit the flow and pressure profile used by the system. The V20 model design works from the engine-driven accessory area, moving fluid through the gear so steering input receives hydraulic assist. Mounting and rotation details are key to placing the pump correctly on the engine. The PAI EM38740 sends steering fluid through the pressure side of the circuit.
