Automann Back Up Light Switch
The Automann Back Up Light Switch triggers the reverse lighting circuit when the vehicle transmission shifts into reverse gear. Connection with the transmission system allows the switch to detect gear position changes. Electrical contact inside the Automann 577.55525 closes once the reverse gear position is reached. This connection completes the lighting circuit that powers the rear reverse lamps. Illumination from those lights indicates that the vehicle is backing up. Electrical signals from the switch travel through the vehicle's wiring harness toward the rear lighting assemblies.
