Bendix Air Brake Camshaft
The Bendix Air Brake Camshaft is a left-hand, counterclockwise-rotation shaft built for 16.5-inch drum brakes on tractor axles. As the slack adjuster turns it, the trim-style cam head forces both shoes outward against the drum, and the return springs pull them back on release. The Bendix K117544N measures 8.75 inches from under the head to the retaining-ring groove and carries a 1.50-inch, 28-spline end for the slack adjuster. A matching right-hand camshaft completes the opposite wheel end on the same axle.
