The Mopar EGR Bypass Actuator is the genuine factory unit that sends exhaust gas either through the EGR cooler or around it on 2013-2024 Ram trucks with the 6.7L Cummins. Switching between those two routes lets the engine control EGR gas temperature as operating conditions change. The Mopar 68399240AA covers those Cummins trucks whether they use the 68RFE automatic, the Aisin six-speed automatic, or the G56 manual transmission. When a sticking or failed bypass sets emissions codes, the factory actuator brings the EGR system back to its designed operation.
