Bendix Quick Release Valve

The Bendix Quick Release Valve dumps chamber air at the axle the instant the driver releases the pedal, rather than routing air back through the supply line to exhaust at the treadle valve. A rubber diaphragm seats against the delivery port under pressure and lifts off once supply pressure drops, opening a large exhaust port at the valve body. The Bendix OR289714 is a coreless design, rebuilt with new internal components rather than requiring a used core return. Fast, local exhaust at each axle keeps release timing consistent instead of one axle lagging while air travels back to the cab.
