Automann Axle Torque Rod
Control rear drive-axle torque reaction and maintain proper driveline alignment with the Automann Axle Torque Rod. This torque arm is built with a rigid steel beam and bonded elastomeric end bushings that help keep the axle positioned correctly during hard acceleration, engine braking, and suspension articulation on Peterbilt Air Trac suspensions. It also helps reduce driveline movement that can change pinion angle under load, allowing suspension travel to remain smoother over uneven pavement and vocational haul routes. By limiting axle rotation before it can affect driveline alignment, the Automann TMR520 helps reduce vibration, U-joint stress, and tire wear associated with uncontrolled torque reaction.
