Automann Parabolic Leaf Spring
Front suspension load support is carried by the Automann Parabolic Leaf Spring through two tapered steel leaves. The parabolic shape places material at the highest-load areas while allowing more flexible movement than a multi-leaf constant-thickness pack. Its two-leaf design reduces internal friction between plates, which can soften ride feel while still carrying commercial vehicle load. The spring works between the axle and frame, flexing over road input and returning to its set arch after compression. For tapered front spring service, the Automann 75-212 brings a two-leaf pack into commercial suspension load control.
