Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly
The Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly keeps spring pressure on a heavy-duty serpentine belt as the belt heats, stretches, and flexes in service. Its automatic mechanism takes up normal slack changes, reducing the need to stop and readjust belt tension manually. Counter-clockwise tensioning and a single pulley define the working direction of the Dayco 89930. Those details matter because the tensioner has to load the belt from the correct side while following the pulley path designed into the accessory drive.
