This single-leaf spring is formed from high-strength spring steel into a carefully arched configuration that provides the flexibility needed to absorb repeated road shock and trailer articulation. It also undergoes heat treatment to help the spring retain its arch and load-carrying characteristics through long-term compression cycling without excessive sagging. Maintaining that spring arch is what allows the Automann TRA021 to keep Binkley and Cush suspension systems riding at the correct height while helping reduce vibration transfer to the trailer and its cargo.
