WIX FR Air Filters provide Fire Retardant Protection in vehicles not normally used in fire support service. For added protection on vehicles called into fire service support such as pickup trucks, bull dozers. Media is designed to self-extinguish when flame or heat source is removed. For added protection near welding operations. Same filtration performance as non-FR media. Air filter Laboratory Tests per ISO 5011: A minimum efficiency of 99.9% contaminant removal.
