The ConMet Trailer Brake Spindle Nut Kit plays its role during wheel-end service, where every step affects how the hub will perform once back on the road. As the hub slides onto the spindle, the nut is tightened to set the correct bearing preload. That pressure positions the bearings inside the hub so they rotate smoothly without excess movement. Too loose, and components shift; too tight, and heat builds up during operation. This kit provides the hardware needed to secure that balance during installation. Each piece works together to hold the assembly in place once torque is applied. In this setup, the ConMet 10036552 locks the hub and bearing system onto the spindle.
