Automann Cast Iron Leaf Spring Shackle

The Automann Cast Iron Leaf Spring Shackle ties the rear end of a front leaf spring to the chassis frame. Cast iron construction gives it the strength to carry constant load without cracking. Pre-drilled pivot holes allow the spring pack to swing freely as it flexes and lengthens under impact. Built for that rear-of-spring position, this shackle lets the spring absorb shock without binding against a fixed point. Mounted at that pivot, the Automann M1824 lets a front spring pack flex safely as it soaks up road impact.
