Hinge geometry controls the movement of the connected panels or parts, so its attachment points must correspond to the original hardware. The Mack 25175440 replaces the hinge component and should not be confused with the latch that keeps a panel closed. The hinge restores the pivoting connection itself, while the latch continues to handle closure and is not included in the same service operation.
