When a Caterpillar cooling system needs its fan-drive clutch replaced, the Kit Masters Caterpillar Fan Clutch restores the controllable connection between the engine drive and cooling fan. Its Caterpillar-specific design separates it from Kit Masters clutches made for other engine applications. The Kit Masters 99346 engages and releases fan drive as cooling airflow is needed while the fan blade remains a separate service component. Replacing the clutch does not require changing surrounding cooling hardware that is still in usable condition.
