Williams Controls Air Brake Plate and Treadle Assembly
Restore smooth pneumatic throttle control with the Williams Controls Air Brake Plate and Treadle Assembly. Despite its name, this treadle assembly is designed to operate air throttle systems that control engine fuel delivery rather than braking functions. Built with an integrated regulating valve, the Williams Controls 117360 delivers air pressure in proportion to pedal movement for predictable throttle control. This proportional response helps provide consistent engine speed across the pedal's operating range.
WM476F series treadles are surface mounted, pedal actuated throttle controls for on-highway applications. Each WM476F model incorporates a regulating valve subassembly from the WM90DX series. When the WM476F’s pedal is applied, the valve subassembly delivers an output proportional to the pedal position. The output controls a throttle cylinder which positions an engine’s fuel pump lever.
