Traction control needs a way to turn an electronic request into brake-air delivery without waiting for the driver to press the pedal, and the Bendix Air Brake Automatic Traction Control Valve provides that bridge. Its ATR-6 relay section handles the pneumatic response once the traction controller calls for intervention. Because it works on both sides of that interface, correct electrical connection and relay plumbing are equally important during replacement. In the intended system, the Bendix K070963 sits between the control signal and the brake-air circuit, translating the request into pressure at the wheel end.
