    Phillips Industries Trailer Receptacle Socket

The Phillips Industries Trailer Receptacle Socket features a two-hole mounting configuration with ring-type terminal connections. It’s compatible with standard 7-way wiring setups and uses a rugged, non-corrosive housing that resists magnesium chloride, salt, oils, grease, and fuels. The inner cavity is fully sealed to prevent contaminants from reaching the wire harness, reducing the risk of electrical failure from moisture or debris. An extended front barrel offers added cable support and includes a 5° forward slant to promote moisture drainage and prevent pooling near the terminals. Often mounted on semi-trailers, box vans, or drop-deck trailers, the Phillips Industries 16-822 maintains consistent signal transfer for brake, tail, turn, and auxiliary functions through a secure, vibration-resistant connection.
