The Meritor Air Brake Camshaft Enclosure closes and organizes the S-cam service area on 16.50-inch P, Q, and Q Plus foundation brake layouts. Instead of being a friction part or air-control component, it supports the area around the camshaft where mechanical movement needs clean coverage. This product is useful when brake work reaches the enclosure hardware around the actuation section. Meritor KITSTNJP finishes the camshaft enclosure portion of the drum brake service without changing the shoe set or chamber.
