The Euclid Air Brake Camshaft Repair Kit handles the parts around a Meritor trailer axle camshaft when the wheel end is already open and the S-cam area is being rebuilt. Instead of acting like a general brake hardware assortment, this kit concentrates on the shaft’s working path through the brake support area. The pieces create the contact surfaces that affect rotation before the shoes ever touch the drum, giving the camshaft a cleaner path through the bore. In a cam repair job, the kit lets the work focus on the bore, seal, and bearing-contact areas that usually sit hidden behind the brake shoe set. Through Euclid E-6078, the trailer brake gets a cam repair package aimed at one wheel-end position.
