Euclid Left Hand Inner Cap Nut
The Euclid Left Hand Inner Cap Nut fits dual-mounted aluminum wheel service where the inner wheel fastener uses left-hand thread direction. Its through-hardened construction, full inner thread design, and 3.06-inch length make it a wheel-end nut made for deep engagement rather than a shallow fastening point. Inner cap nuts carry an important role in dual wheel stacks because the inner wheel must be secured before the outer wheel hardware finishes the assembly. During wheel service, mismatched thread direction, rounded hex flats, or damaged threads can make the inner nut the part that needs attention before the wheel goes back on. The Euclid E-5978-L fits aluminum dual wheel mounting where left-hand inner fastening is required.
