The Euclid Drum Brake Shoe supplies the unlined steel shoe body used in a 12.25-inch drum brake position. This is not a finished lined shoe, so the focus is the arched metal structure that will carry the selected lining material after the relining process. Its 8-inch width gives the shoe a broad table for friction material, while the rivet-ready body ties the part to brake rebuild work rather than quick lining replacement. On a bench, the part reads as the foundation for the friction surface, with the curved profile already shaped for the drum. With Euclid E-1580, the brake repair starts with the correct shoe form before lining material is added.
