Mack Suspension Shock Absorber
The Mack Suspension Shock Absorber is calibrated for the axle control characteristics used in compatible Mack suspension assemblies. Its damping rate corresponds to the rebound and compression range engineered for the original spring and axle configuration. Stroke length and extended dimensions follow the travel limits built into the factory mounting brackets. Internal valving manages load transfer and pavement impact without allowing excessive bounce after compression. With this Mack 21010744 shock absorber installed, axle movement stays controlled within the travel range the suspension was designed to operate in.
